A device "Reconditioned"is the result of a series of highly articulated specific events supported by various competent bodies, which cooperate to ensure that no step is omitted and that all processes are therefore correctly completed.
Having established that every factory manufacturing new products today has structured itself to be able to resell them also as "manufacturer-reconditioned products", there are well-established companies like ours that implement a very similar process, while reducing the final cost of one of their devices to 50% and thus making prices even more competitive, while still maintaining the same quality and reliability.
In other words, our products Refurbished are up to the more affordable 80% compared to new products, and up to the cheapest 50% compared to the same Refurbished by the manufacturers.
Smart Generation was among the first companies in Italy in reconditioning Apple™ computers following careful and thorough testing processes including complete sanitisation and the replacement of worn or damaged components, and today has established itself as the company No.1 in Italy in distributing them to individuals and companies while maintaining quality and attention to all the processes involved in the transformation of a simple "used"in a wonderful and reliable Reconditioned.

Over the years we have been able to withdraw from the market tens of thousands of used products from private individuals, companies, end of operating leases, end of company leases, ex-demos and end of showrooms, and we provided recondition them individuallyfollowing the following 3 macro processes on all articles:
Hardware Checks
First stage of the reconditioning process
As soon as the used product arrives at our laboratories, it is immediately placed under the specific control of our specialised techniciansThey immediately check the correct functionality of every single internal component, making sure there is nothing worn or in need of replacement.
Any accessories attached to the withdrawn device are also checked at the hardware level.
In products with an integrated battery (MacBook, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch), the latter is replaced if checks show that the 80% is less efficient than a new battery.
Software Testing
SECOND STAGE OF THE RECONDITIONING PROCESS
After checking the hardware and verifying the perfect functionality of all parts, the hard drive is initialised to leave no data from the previous user, and thelatest OS version.
Once the operating system is installed, our technicians carry out over 40 manual teststo check its proper functioning and the software's response to use, and the product remains in testing for over 36 hours consecutive.
If all tests are successful, the device is ready for the last step before going on sale.
Internal and external cleaning
THIRD STAGE OF THE RECONDITIONING PROCESS
Once the functional part of the device has been verified, the used device it is transferred to the health department, which sterilises and disinfects every part, both internally and externally, so that it totally cleaned from any traces that might compromise the verification of its aesthetic and functional state, and thus make it suitable for sale online.
Cleaning is done with highly advanced tools which remove all traces of dust or dirt, and which restore the same brilliance than when it was bought new.
At the end of all three processes, the device is totally reconditionedand is ready for sale to the best market prices.
It is worth mentioning that the Reconditioning Process only takes place to ensure perfect functionality and reliability and that NOT the outside of the products is reconditioned, so they may show signs of wear and tear.
