A wide variety of items can be collected, to be used in the future to transform ordinary improvised weapons into true instruments of destruction. In addition to satisfying the minds of even the most die-hard fans of carnage, Dead Island includes role-playing game elements that allow the player to develop their character into one of the game's original classes, following their own preferences, while learning new skills and tactics as they journey through the perilous island environments. In addition, at any time during the game, up to four players can join together in a flash and immerse themselves in the compelling story and intense combat in co-operative mode.
